Seawell Named Vice President by Larson & McGowin

The forestry firm of Larson & McGowin, Inc. has announced the promotion of Ruth Cardinal Seawell to Vice President. Seawell, who has been with the company since 1997, has served as Forest Analyst and has also been responsible for the financial analysis for timberland appraisals and acquisitions, and technical support for timberland management and timber resource analysis for Larson & McGowin, Inc.

She has also been instrumental in introducing and implementing the firm’s own timberland database management software, ForestPro.

Seawell joined Larson & McGowin, Inc. with eight years experience as a Forester and Forest Analyst at Alabama River Woodlands, Inc. in Claiborne, Alabama. She received her Bachelor of Science (Natural Resources) degree from the University of the South and a Master of Forest Resources from the University of Georgia.

In addition to her professional career, Seawell has also been very active in her community. Seawell is also the current President of SEEDS (Supporting Education Enrichment in Daphne Schools).
